These areas are lined with 100% pure, DuPont Kevlar; a protective aramid material that is optimal for use in Motorcycle jeans due to its various qualities. Kevlar is lightweight, breathable, soft, strong and sturdy. Along with that CE Level 2 EN 1621-1: 2012 approved armour is also included in the jeans. The armour is CE L2 certified which is a certification for PPE with high risks involved. Even though Tourx Motorbike jeans is made especially for the purpose of touring and urban commuting, the armour provides protection far above its requirements, making it a very safe product.
